Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 3, 2026

Hey there! We're glad you're checking this out. We built DatePair Date Ideas to help couples find fun things to do together, and we want to be upfront about what happens with your data when you visit our site.

What information we collect

When you visit our site, we collect some basic stuff through analytics tools. This includes things like what pages you look at, how long you hang out on the site, what device you're using, and your general location (like city-level, not your exact address). We also see how you got here—whether you clicked a link, searched on Google, or came directly.

We don't collect your name, email, or any personal info unless you reach out to us directly. We're not running a newsletter or making accounts, so there's nothing to sign up for.

How we use your information

We use this data to figure out what's working and what's not. If everyone bounces after two seconds, we know something's off. If a certain date idea gets tons of views, maybe we should write more like it. Pretty straightforward.

We also use it to fix technical problems. If the site breaks on mobile Safari, the analytics help us spot that.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies to make the site work better. The main ones come from Google Analytics (tracking ID: G-4RRK0JGBS9) and Vercel Analytics, which hosts our site. These help us see how people use the site.

We also set a cookie when you dismiss the cookie banner at the bottom of the page, so we don't bug you about it every time you visit. That one lasts 30 days.

If you want more details about what cookies do, check out our Cookie Policy.

Third-party services

We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics. Both of these services collect data about site visitors. Google and Vercel have their own privacy policies that explain what they do with data. We don't control how they handle things on their end, but we picked them because they're widely trusted.

We're not selling your data to anyone or sharing it with advertisers. This isn't that kind of site.

Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect whatever data we collect. The site uses HTTPS, so your connection is encrypted. Our hosting provider (Vercel) has solid security practices.

That said, no website is 100% secure. If something goes wrong, we'll deal with it as best we can.

Your rights

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies if you want. Keep in mind that turning off cookies might affect how some sites work, though ours should still load fine.

You can also opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing their browser add-on.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top. We're not planning major changes, but if we add new features or tracking tools, we'll update this page to reflect that.
